Alanna, a native of Franklin County, Tennessee, has a deep passion for serving her community, particularly its youth. As a teenager, she found fulfillment in volunteering with the Franklin County Prevention Coalition, working to protect children and families from the dangers of drug and alcohol misuse. She creatively produced TikTok videos to encourage teens to lead healthy, drug-free lives. Now a youth minister, Alanna continues to support the mission of the Franklin County Prevention Coalition in her free time, serving as a writer, researcher, and advocate.

These THC-infused candies and snacks are being packaged to look nearly identical to regular treats, making them hard to distinguish even for adults—let alone children. We face enough challenges in today’s world. Protecting our children from accidental THC exposure shouldn't be one of them. The more we educate ourselves on these dangers, the more we can put protective factors in place.
