Badges & Bobbers was a HUGE success bringing together local children and families for a free day of fishing, games, and prizes. Beyond the outdoor recreation, the event served a profound purpose: raising awareness and fostering support for Drug Endangered Children in our community. For these participants, the day was filled with unforgettable milestones, from the excitement of catching a first fish to playing games alongside family members and community heroes. By providing a safe, positive environment, the event offered local youth an opportunity to experience the physical and mental benefits of outdoor activities while building meaningful connections with first responders. These dedicated professionals are more than heroes in uniform; they are essential role models. Through these vital partnerships with first responders and local agencies, the initiative continues to build what matters most: stronger youth, stronger families, and a more resilient community.
