The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is excited to announce that its 3rd annual “Hometown Heroes” public safety event is in the works. Our event is designed to allow the public to meet their Franklin County First Responders, while also showcasing the equipment used to serve Franklin County. There will be a Kids Zone, Food Trucks, County and State Resources, and Live Demonstrations for the public to see.

Also, remember the Law Enforcement tug-of-war team is slated to defend their title in a 10 vs 10 Police vs Fire tug-of-war.

This event will be at a new location. We will be at the Franklin County Annex Property on the Blvd. We will also be utilizing the Old High School Football Field along with the Farmers Pavilion. The event will be on October 4th, 2025, from noon to 4 pm.
